Love the article. I am exploring how to give the most back the last couple of years as well. I participate as much as possible in startup events to meet great people and learn from all of them.

I have a hard time narrowing down my skill set though.
Not because I know a lot, but because I don't know what I am really good at.
Or better yet what others believe I am good at. I need to find my 'step to the plate' moment.

My dream is to be a mentor to a couple of startups/companies and help them be successful. I run an online marketing firm where we focus on online success.
But I hear from others that I can help them on other fields as well. So that is really inspiring and the reason I am doing it.

Lots to learn, lots to talk about.
You gave my day an energy boost. Thanks!

Actually in sociology there are 3 possibilities, relating to groups and communities:
1) if you are weak (or inactive) and you are integrated into community
2) if you are very powerful you will dominate that community
3) you get to a compromise for a bilateral integration...

When it comes to Internet/Downloading, I believe it's inevitable. In my country (Dominican Republic), there isn't any comic book store and comic books aren't as popular as manga and anime; even if there was, the prices would be way crazy high for a comic book: $US 4 it's a $RD 160 and that money can be used any other cheaper activities.

First thing I see before following anyone - does this person is a tweet-maniac(I meant someone tweeting like 100 tweets day. I am fine till 20-30. Better if less)? If yes, then it's a deal breaker even though his/her tweets are the most awesome on this planets. Simple reason - I cannot follow all the tweets and it will also drown the tweet from other users and kill the variety of course.

And no, I do not follow anyone because they follow me and I unfollow only those tweeters who followed me and I followed them back just because I am friends with them, and then they unfollowed me.

I never follow any News tweeter, celebrity tweeter(they usually post things like "just drank, just ate, just farted, farted again" etc). It is screened easily by seeing their few last tweet times if it's minutes instead of hours then I am off.

There is a 3/10 rule that I always go by. If you don't buy me a drink within 10 minutes then I will move on. If you do, then I will spend 10 minutes with you trying to drum up a lap dance or private room. If that doesn't work, I move on. Gotta cut you losses somewhere and that applies in the business world. On top of dancing, I also own my own cafe.

Disqus is more user as one can comment by social networking such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Orkut etc. So I know is Disqus with greater traffic and commenter profiles.
